Modding · real access

Your server.
Your files. Your mods.

Full SFTP, an in-dashboard file manager, and live console access on every game server — install anything your game's modding platform supports. Three games also get a genuine one-click Mod Store. No walled garden, no per-mod fee, no ticket to unlock file access.

real file access — not a magic installer

How modding works on your server

Three honest steps — no magic installer

This is how every Nxeon game server already works. Same flow you'd use on a box in your closet — minus the box, the SteamCMD, and the patch-day babysitting.

01

Upload it — File Manager or SFTP

Drag the plugin into the in-dashboard file manager, or connect over SFTP with the credentials on every server. Real file access, no ticket.

02

Drop it in the right folder

oxide/plugins, mods/, BepInEx/plugins, addons/ — wherever your game's modding platform expects it. It's your server, laid out like a real one.

Restart from the console

Hit restart in the panel or reload from the live console. The mod loads and it's live — snapshot a backup first if you're experimenting.

What you can install

Every kind of mod, no gatekeeping

Whatever your community runs on, the file's one upload away. A few of the categories players ask for most:

Gameplay & content

The plugins that change how the game plays — new content, mechanics, and rules.

Admin & moderation

The tools that keep a public server sane — permissions, bans, and staff powers.

Economy & shops

Currency, in-game stores, and rewards — the loop that keeps players logging back in.

Performance

Optimisation mods that claw back TPS on a busy server — entity culling and chunk tuning.

Maps & worlds

Custom maps, prefabs, and world edits — drop them in over the file manager, restart, done.

Quality of life

The small stuff players expect — kits, homes, chat tags, and backpacks.

What you actually get

Access, not a walled garden

A lot of hosts gate file access behind a ticket, or cap what you can install. We don't — this is real, unrestricted access to your own server.

Nothing artificially blocked

No mod-count cap, no plugin allow-list, no "contact support to enable file access." If the game supports it, your server can run it.

Real SFTP & root-level file access

The same access you'd have on hardware in your closet — full SFTP straight into your own server, minus the hardware.

Free backup before you experiment

Snapshot your world before installing anything untested, and roll it straight back in a click if a mod breaks something.

Live console & RCON

Tail logs in real time and send console/RCON commands without a second tool — useful the moment a mod misbehaves.

FAQ

Modding, answered honestly

Is this a one-click mod installer?

For Minecraft, Rust, and Valheim, yes — a genuine built-in Mod Store lets you browse and install in one click. For every other game, including CS2 and Palworld, you install mods the honest way: upload over SFTP or the file manager, then restart. We don't fake a magic universal installer.

Can I install any mod I want?

Yes. Nxeon doesn't curate, block, or limit mods. You get full file and console access, so anything your game's modding platform (Oxide, Forge, BepInEx, Steam Workshop, etc.) supports, you can install.

Is there a limit on how many mods I can run?

No artificial limit from us. The practical ceiling is your plan's RAM, CPU, and storage — a heavier modpack just needs a larger tier.

What about Steam Workshop mods?

Games with official Workshop support (ARK, Garry's Mod, Project Zomboid, Conan Exiles, and others) work the standard way — reference Workshop IDs in your server config and they mount on restart.

A mod broke my world — what now?

Roll back to a backup taken before you installed it. We recommend snapshotting first any time you try something untested.
