What are the requirements for an Unturned server?+
Unturned is light on resources — a small community runs comfortably on 2 GB, and a busy plugin-and-Workshop-map server is happy on 3 GB. Our Pro 3 GB plan is the popular pick; heavy modded servers do well on more.
Should I use RocketMod or OpenMod?+
Both are plugin frameworks. RocketMod is the long-standing standard with a huge catalog; OpenMod is the modern successor with cleaner architecture and active development. Pick one and build your plugin stack on it — our install guide walks through either.
How do I add Workshop maps?+
You list the Steam Workshop file IDs in the server's WorkshopDownloadConfig so the server downloads them, then set the active map. Clients auto-download the content when they connect, so no one has to subscribe manually.
Can I run an economy server with shops and kits?+
